Jared Price

Actor/Singer/Dancer

Jared Price's career in the arts began when he was just six years old. After he had a one liner in a school play, and of course seeing Broadway's The Lion King, he knew the rest would be history. It really kicked off in high school when he joined choir, drama, speech and debate, and an all male a cappella group, where he won various award in all departments. There he learned what it means to be a performer and an artist and how important the Arts can relate to a human being. He wanted to perform and create to give people a new perspective on how one relates to another, and to give a new perspective and escape from the real world, even if it was for a moment in time. Since then, he has had the privilege of working with top industry coaches and professionals, and even has become a coach and Music Director himself. He has recently become a Vocal and Performance Coach at Born To Perform Studio, located in Thousand Oaks, California. There he hopes to teach young artists and performers what it means to be an artist and a student, while getting the proper vocal technique experience. "If I can create a love for Theatre and Performing within a young student's soul, I've done my job." Jared has thoroughly enjoyed Musically Directing numerous Musical Theatre productions including Breakthrough Studio's Seussical the Musical Jr, Born To Perform Studio's productions of Legally Blonde The Musical Jr, Willy Wonka Jr, and Alice In Wonderland Jr, and Conejo Players Theatre productions of My Son Pinocchio Jr, and Into the Woods Jr. Receiving his BM in Vocal Performance at Cal. State Northridge, he has studied Music Education and Vocal Performance in the styles of Musical Theatre, Pop, Opera, Barbershop, and Chorale under the directions of Lori Marie Rios, Rob Istad, Christopher Peterson, Don Brinegar, Craig Gruenberg, Paul Smith, and David Sannerud...just to name a few. He has coached award winning a cappella groups and has sung and performed in places such as Disneyland Resort, The Queen Mary, Lila Cockrell Theater (San Antonio, Texas), and has premiered choral music in The Walt Disney Concert Hall and the Los Angeles Valley Performing Arts Center. He has spent his time travelling around the world as a vocal performer and has sung with the 9-time award winning International Barbershop Chorus, Masters of Harmony, and the 3-time award winning International Barbershop Collegiate Chorus, Boom Town Chorus. Some of his most recent favorite Theatre credits includes the Regional Premiere of Big Fish (Will Bloom), Heathers (JD), The Fantasticks (Matt), and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Leaf Coneybear). He wants to continue sharing his love of performing and artistry whether it be on or off the stage and screen.
